SYS-400 Modular multi-channel ultrasound system

SYS-400 is a general pourpose crate that can host up to 20 4TE 3U Eurocard boards. The SYS-400, can host up to 8 high voltage square wave pulsers ( mod. PX-400 ), up to 8 high gain receivers ( mod. RX-400 ) and one controller ( mod. PC-20, mod. PC-100, mod. PC-S, mod. CPU-400 ) to build up a very powerful ultrasonic instrument. It’s also possible to use only one pulser and one receiver. In any moment the custumer could upgrade the system by adding other pulser /receiver pairs. A multiplexer board ( mod. MUX-08 ) has been foreseen to display/acquire the right channel. Three different types of controller has been designed to tailor the SYS-400 to the customer’s needs.

Applications:

The SYS-400 is designed to be versatile. The costumer can choose the boards to use and how to connect them. The SYS-400 is particularly suited in problems where more than one measurement must be carried on at the same time.
